Theme: Deep romantic devotion and the longing to overcome physical or emotional barriers for the beloved (“дівчина” / “мила”). The imagery is vividly pastoral and hyperbolic — mountains must literally be dug up and the valley leveled so the speaker’s love can be clearly “visible” all the way to the “dear house.” It’s classic Ukrainian folk-song motif: love as a force strong enough to reshape the landscape itself, paired with eternal commitment (“На віки любити”).

Noting the torn page: The bottom right corner is physically torn away, which  obscures additional lines or a possible date/signature at the foot of the page. Only faint fragments remain visible in that damaged area; the main stanzas above it are fully legible. This matches the pattern of wear seen across other pages in the same notebook.
